Innovative and sustainable photovoltaic system
The project created by the LumenWat company was awarded
International award for the new photovoltaic system of NBC Elettronica Group, created by the Morbegnese company LumenWatt excellence in the photovoltaic and lighting sector from Valtellina, for the “commercial and industrial” category”.
“NBC Elettronica Group “NBC Elettronica Group has always been attentive to everything that can benefit the environment and our territory – comments Gianluca Bassanelli, managing director of NBC Elettronica -. With this photovoltaic system we are autonomous for more than 50% of the energy consumption of our production departments. For this we thank LumenWatt who supported us in every phase of the study and implementation of the project and knew how to understand our needs”.
The Jinko Solar Awards 2023 has awarded the recognition in recent months with a jury composed of technicians from all over the world.

A choice for the environment and the territory
The new photovoltaic system was installed on the NBC Elettronica production site, in the municipality of Delebio. “We made this choice to make our contribution to the environment with more sustainable solutions – continues Bassanelli -. Nowadays there is much talk of environmental impact, of virtuous processes and this is the least that a business can do to seek to create a better future. In this sense, the expertise and experience of LumenWatt technicians have been of great support to us”.
“For us it is always important to identify and understand the customer’s request – explains Thomas Acquistapace, CEO of LumenWatt -. In the case of NBC the objective that we wanted to achieve was well defined: to reduce energy costs without changing the structure of the production plant. We also add the knowledge we have of the territory that has allowed us to study the most innovative and efficient solution“.

A recognized and supported commitment
The collaboration between the two Valtellinese companies and the recognition obtained have also attracted great interest in local newspapers both for the innovative processes applied to the plant and for the highly positive impact it will have on the territory. “Initiatives like this are good for the environment and the territory in which our production realities are located – concludes Bassanelli -. Our commitment continues in this direction every day to always develop new technological solutions with particular attention to what surrounds us”.
