For 40 years NBC Elettronica Group has been the first Italian manufacturer of custom-made load cells, designed and built according to the customer’s objectives. Working in the industrial weighing sector for forty years, we have faced the challenges of the market in an innovative way, receiving appreciation all over the world thanks to our service, which provides advice and product customization, and to our history, built in over forty years of industrial renewal and global expansion. A history along which NBC Elettronica Group has been able to innovate the field of industrial weighing, becoming one of the reference points in the sector.
Our experience begins in 1980, when, at the dawn of electronic weighing, NBC Elettronica Group presents itself as an innovative company, introducing new materials for the Italian market such as aluminum and stainless steel. The success of the company, which immediately ranks as a reference among the problem solvers in the sector, is immediate.
Innovation, which has been the company’s watchword from the beginning, does not only concern the materials: in the same years NBC Elettronica Group succeeds in designing and manufacturing the smallest dynamometer in the world. The company thus successfully placed itself on the global industrial weighing market, strengthening its business with commercial partnerships around the world.
The courage to dare has rewarded the company, in the same way as other innovative companies of the time: in the same period in which Apple innovated the emergent market of personal computers with the Macintosh 128K, smaller than its competitors and at the same time with more memory, NBC Elettronica Group innovated the industrial weighing sector with a dynamometer, which was smaller than that of its competitors, and materials. Revolutionary.
Towards the future with determination
The nineties begin with the entry of NBC Elettronica Group into the B2C market, a path followed with profit that has allowed NBC to acquire great skills in the field of mass production. Skills later turned out to be useful in the design of custom products for the B2B market, the main focus of the company. Beginning with collaborations in the early 2000s involving partners such as Starlane and Transdutec, which have resulted in supplying load cells to leading companies in the Italian and international market, ranging from consumer to automotive, from lifting to food, as well as more specific collaborations, for example with post offices throughout Italy, or even exciting challenges, such as active support of a load cell calibrated on the gearbox, which contributed to achieving great results in the field of Motorsport in 2009.
The decade of the 2000s represent, once again, years of experimentation and innovation for the company, with the entry into high-performance markets. Sectors of interest become oil & gas, offshore, robotics and gas pipelines, up to projects of global importance with a load cell integrated in the regulation system for opening and closing the gates of the new Panama Canal, implemented on the recommendation of Cimolai, world leader in technological solutions and industrial engineering projects.
Today, as back then, NBC Elettronica Group is always open to the innovations proposed by the market.
