Partnership to protect operators and workers
NBC Elettronica Group, always attentive to the safety of its operators and workers, has decided to take a further step forward in terms of quality, safety and prevention, launching a new partnership with the Associazione Linea Vita, which is responsible for protecting operators especially those at risk of “falling from heights”.
Since its inception in June 2005, the association has been committed to promote and disseminate the culture of prevention, protection and hygiene at work and today has over 4000 members in addition to more than 200 companies that have taken advantage of the training courses and update for workers at height.
Why correct information is important
According to a study conducted by the surveillance system Info.Mo, in the period between 2014 and 2018, it emerged that 50% of the accidents that occur in the construction sector are caused by those involved falling from heights.
Most of these accidents are related to problems related to the workers’ operating methods, not necessarily attributable to their direct responsibility, but rather to managerial shortcomings that prevented them from carrying out their work safely.
Courses and updates to avoid accidents
Accidents at work is a deeply felt problem in Italy and unfortunately it has considerable numbers. According to Inail data updated to 2022 in Italy there were around 700,000 occupational accidents. In this regard, many organizations and associations have moved to try to stem and reduce the number of accidents.
Among these, Associazione Linea Vita constantly offers refresher courses, guaranteeing total technical assistance with free training from day one.
