With this regard, the NBC Elettronica Group has confirmed their commitment either to eco-sustainability or the investment for the future of the Country and the next generations.

With respect to the energy goals set by the ONU 2030 Agenda, Italy has indeed promoted a broad-based distribution of the photo-voltaic, placing itself at the top for power consumption in a clean way and with zero emissions.

Commiting to environment for a better future

The NBC Elettronica Group, Italian leader in the industrial weighing market, is well aware of the extreme importance and benefits of using renewable energy, notably the photo-voltaic, for a sustainable development. It is precisely for this that it has just inaugurated a new installation which will cover a considerable quantity of energy consumption in the production sector.

Here are the characteristics of the system, created in collaboration with Lumenwatt:

It consists of 264 photo-voltaic panels that have been installed on the roof,
with a power of 120,12 kWp,
able to generate 120MWh/per year (approximately the annual consumption of 40 families).
It covers, thanks to self-consumption, roughly 50% of the company’s electricity needs.

The energy thus generated helps to prevent the annual emission of 64 Tonnes of CO2, equivalent to 384 planted trees.

The NBC Elettronica Group has underlined for years their commitment to the social sphere and environmental sustainability, in accordance with the main ethical code.

“NBC has taken this stand to reduce energy costs as well as contributing to the energy transition that provides precisely, among the fundamental pillars, the use of green energy sources – the group has argued -. Furthermore, the NBC Group has undertaken an energetic efficient path starting with the relamping, that is the substitution of lighting systems with new LED-technology devices which predict energy saving by more than 50%. We foresee as well to substitute processing equipment with new and more efficient ones, in view of the Transition plan 4.0”.
